Best 7 inch Mini Laptop

The best 7 inch mini laptop is the only (branded) 7 inch mini laptop on the market and is the original netbook; the Asus Eee PC 701. It's about as cheap as you can get for a netbook but lacks features of newer netbooks such as the Intel Atom processor (instead it uses a scaled down Intel Celeron) and 3G internet options.

There are several models of the Asus Eee PC 701, ranging from the budget 2G Surf model to the Eee PC 701SSD, which features more storage and memory. It’s available on both Linux and Windows XP.

Although Asus have recently announced the consolidation of their Eee PC product range to just include 10 inch mini laptops, the Eee PC 701 still remains available, and remains the cheapest model available.

Although the original Asus netbook is only going to be around for a few more months, it is still available on Amazon and will continue to be available as used or refurbished in the foreseeable future.
